What information is available in the parent portal?

The Parent Portal provides information about a student's attendance, grades and progress for any student enrolled in grades K-12. As you will be accessing information about your student (s) in a new interface, please make use of the documents below to ease the transition.

How do I reset the password for the parent portal?

You may reset the password on your own or contact us (apignone@bscsd.org) if you require assistance. The Parent Portal provides information about a student's attendance, grades and progress for any student enrolled in grades K-12.

How do I contact bscsd?

You are also invited to contact us directly, via email, with any general questions/concerns. You may contact us at: apignone@bscsd.org

How do I contact bcsdny support?

Please keep an eye out for information. If guardians are having technical difficulties logging on to the portal, they may send an email to parenttechsupport@bcsdny.org for assistance. For security reasons, support requests must be sent from an email address already on file with the District.

A Message from the Superintendent - Bus Shortage - February 18 th

We currently have two bus routes that cannot be covered on Friday, both morning and afternoon runs, February 18, 2022. Those school buses are Bus #326 (Mouse) and Bus #327 (Bear) for both the High/Middle School and Elementary students.

Incoming Kindergarten Parent Orientation 3.09.22

To prepare for Kindergarten student registration this spring, a virtual Kindergarten Parent Orientation will be held on March 9, 2022 from 6:30-7:30pm. We will be utilizing a video conference meeting format.

Parents - Vaccination Survey Request

With recent approvals for the use of the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine for students ages 5-11, as well as the expansion of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for students ages 12+, we are requesting that those who have been recently vaccinated respond to a confidential survey to inform the District of your/your student’s vaccination status.

What is Parent Portal?

Parent Portal not only monitors your student's attendance (at the elementary level) and academic progress through the internet, it will also be the site where you locate documents, register students in school, and update demographic information. Once your account is set-up, it will be available every year with the username and password you created.

What is Student Portal?

The same website as the Parent Portal, but students in grades 6-12 will have access to their grades/attendance.

Can I change my password?

In Parent Portal, yes, go to Account Preferences and click on the pencil icon next to the password to edit your password. In Student Portal, no.

Can I check my student's lunch balance?

In Parent Portal, it is available under Balance. This will show you the student's lunch balance, as well as any fees due.

Can progress reports be emailed to me?

Currently elementary cannot see grades. For secondary the answer is Yes! Go to Email Notification, select the reports you would like to receive, frequency, any additional e-mails, and Submit.

Enrolled my Kindergarten student in the spring, do I need to complete Enrollment Express again?

Yes, but you will be completing returning student information. We also ask that you upload proof of residency.

Forgot the Email I used to create my account-what do I do now?

Please email bssdpschoolparents@bssd.net and provide your student's name and school, your name, and email associated with the account. Once your information has been verified, you will be emailed your student's information. Please allow 48 hours (M-F) for a return email.

Breakfast of Champions

The High School Administration team and the PTSA celebrated 9th grade students who had a first quarter average of 95 or above (without rounding). Congratulations on all of your hard work!
