COCISD New Student Registration & Enrollment

We are excited to have you join our community! New students may be registered for school at the registrar/attendance clerk's office on the campus they will attend.

State law requires school attendance between the ages of 6 and 18. A child must be five years of age on or before September 1 to enter Kindergarten. To enter First Grade, a child must be 6 years of age on or before September 1.

Organization

The Coldspring-Oakhurst High School AFJROTC unit has been designated "Texas 20066" (TX-20066) and was established in the year 2006. The Corps of Cadets is organized as a Group. Major functions of the group are categorized into specialized duties and responsibilities.

Corps Leadership and management of the corps is the responsibility of the cadets

The Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) and the Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) are responsible for the overall function of the unit, teaching in accordance with an established curriculum, and providing the framework and guidance under which the corps operates.
