LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock ISD elementary school honored one of its exemplary alumnae today. Jennifer Coleman is a children's book author and came to celebrate Cowboy Day at Williams Elementary. She read her newest book and sang along with students. She also signed copies of her work for them.

Welcome back from a needed break and rest. Hopefully, we will see some results from the time off. The last APH numbers we have are showing a break in the rise. We may be following the predicted peak timeframe of this week or next. Let’s hope so.
PfISD Food and Child Nutrition Services and Aramark will be serving curbside meals (weather permitting) on Friday, Jan. 21 and Monday, Jan. 24 when the schools are closed.
