See November's honored students! The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today announced that Hamden Middle School is one of 8 schools in Connecticut to be named as a "No Place for Hate" school!
The Parent Portal provides a way for parents to observe their child's attendance, assignments and grades, as well as easily email teachers. This access allows parents to keep more informed about what is happening with their children in school. The Parent Portal is part of our Student Information System (SIS).
Elementary schools will open the Parent Portal only on a pilot basis (a handful of elementary classrooms), since elementary schools are also transitioning to a new type of progress reporting (Standards-based report cards).
Welcome HHS Families. We believe parent involvement is the key to student success. Below you will find information on our School Governance Council, parent access to Power School, and our school health services, including the nurse's office and the SBHC (School Based Health Clinic).
Prior to the start of the 21-22 school year, Connecticut enacted PA 21-46 An Act Concerning Social Equity and the Health, Safety and Education of Children. Students are now allowed 2 EXCUSED school days to care for their mental health. These are in addition to the 9 excused days they may take for any reason.
Parents/Guardians who need their student dismissed early must provide a note, email, or phone call to their house administrator indicating the date, time and reason for dismissal. Please visit the House Administration page for your student’s contact information.
Grab & Go Meals will be served from 10 am to 11 am Daily at all Hamden Public Schools throughout the summer. Parents may pick up at open sites on behalf of their children
