What is the student and Parent Portal?

Dear Parents and Caregivers, Our school has undertaken a new initiative, the Student and Parent Portal, to provide both parents and students with discreet information about each student's progress in our school.

What is the Genesis parent access portal?

The Genesis Parent Access Portal is a safe and secure way to view your child's/student school record for the current school year. This new tool will help improve communication about student progress and attendance and allow the school and home to work together more closely to ensure student success.

How do I link my child/children to the parent portal?

Your continuous Parent Portal Link: Parent Portal Login To see information from the school and to link your enrolled child/children, enter the access key provided in the introductory letter into the Family/Student access key tab.

How do I register for access to the parent portal?

Register for access to our Parent Portal using the following link: Portal Registration You must use a valid email address to create your username and password. Make a note of the email you entered which will be your username and the password to access the parent portal once finalised.

What is the parent portal?

The Parent Portal provides a way for parents to observe their child's attendance, assignments and grades, as well as easily email teachers. This access allows parents to keep more informed about what is happening with their children in school. The Parent Portal is part of our Student Information System (SIS).

Is the parent portal open for elementary schools?

Elementary schools will open the Parent Portal only on a pilot basis (a handful of elementary classrooms), since elementary schools are also transitioning to a new type of progress reporting (Standards-based report cards).
