The Huntington School District is preparing for the registration of hundreds of new kindergarten students for the 2021/22 school year. The full day program is open to all youngsters in the community who will be five years old by December 1, 2021.
The Office of Student Registration is available to assist parents/guardians interested in registering a child in the Huntington School District. The registration process is multi-faceted and requires the submission of certain documents and/or information to demonstrate eligibility to attend district schools.
Registration will be conducted at the district’s four primary school buildings according to the following schedule: Tuesday, March 15 at Flower Hill Primary; Tuesday, March 20 at Washington Primary; and Thursday, March 22 at Southdown Primary. Make-up sessions are set for Wednesday, April 18 and Thursday, April 19 at Jack Abrams STEM Magnet School.
The Parent Portal is a free, computer-based online system that allows parents/guardians to view their child’s attendance, schedule, grades and reports.
You will need your child’s “Student ID Number,” which is located on the most recent copy of their progress report or report card or can be obtained by contacting your student’s guidance department (see contact information below).
