La Salle currently offers 19 Varsity, 12 Junior-Varsity, and 5 Freshman sports across the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Under the auspices of the PIAA, La Salle competes locally in the Philadelphia Catholic League, where we are one of the most respected athletic programs in the area. We encourage all students to try out for multiple sports across different seasons and we support multi-sport student athletes. For those students looking to get involved in athletics at a less competitive level, we offer seven different in-house intramural sports that are split throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons. All teams also need student managers. Involvement in extra-curricular activities is an important component of the wholistic education a young man receives at La Salle. Please consider getting involved in our athletic program at some level.
The Men of La Salle are all fathers and guardians of La Salle students. Our mission is to provide tuition for students who have lost their primary wage earner. Although it is difficult to believe, we are called upon 6-8 times every year to serve this mission.
Last year, we were able to hold multiple drives (food, school supplies, snacks, etc…), La Salle Responds Dress Down Days to raise funds for non-profits, snack bag making, casserole making, and even virtual visits with community partners. However, nothing compares to face-to-face interaction with our brothers and sisters who are vulnerable.
