SeeSaw is a portfolio and communication platform used by MISD teachers in Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade. As a parent you will be able to see the work your student has saved into SeeSaw, comment on it, and communicate with the classroom teacher.
Remind is a two-way communication tool used by MISD teachers in 3rd - 12th grades. As a parent/guardian you are able to use this app to communicate with your student's teachers as well as receive communication from them.
It is important that all families are able to access and navigate Skyward, the program used in MISD to register for school, sign documents, receive classroom/school notices, see your student's grades and receive important notifications from the district.
Mesquite ISD uses a system called Touchbase to accept and process online payments. Click the following button to go directly to the Touchbase website. Detailed instructions for using the system are on that web page.
Your student has access to iStation through the MISD Student portal. Students using a chromebook can access the program through the portal. Students using a school issued iPad will already have the app loaded on their 1:1 device.

The Student Code of Conduct is a document that is adopted by the school board each year and is intended to provide methods and options for managing students in the classroom, at school sponsored events and while on school grounds.
Winter Break. Winter Break in McKinney ISD usually begins near the end of December and extends through the beginning of January. The specific dates for Winter Break are usually released each January when the board of trustees approves the district’s academic calendar.
School Supplies. School supply information is typically made available in July each summer, although it can vary by campus. School supply lists are generally used for elementary campuses only. These lists are available on the each individual campus website as well as in the front office of the school.
