What is the Volusia County School focus Parent Portal?

Welcome to the Volusia County School's FOCUS Parent Portal registration page. This portal provides parents/guardians a real-time view of their student's assignment grades in all classes.

What is the parent portal?

The Parent Portal is a great way for parents/guardians to stay connected to their student's grades, attendance, assessments, and important announcements. Parent Portal accounts are available for all students enrolled with Volusia County Schools and are easy to set up.

What is the focus parent/student portal?

Volusia County's Focus Parent Portal provides parents/guardians a real-time view of their child's assignment grades, attendance information, current averages in all classes, as well as progress monitoring results. To access the Focus Student Portal sign in through VPortal.

What is vportal?

VPortal provides students and district employees with access to customize and launch their available applications in one location. With its intuitive interface, single-sign-on capability and modern appearance, VPortal ensures our users are equipped with the necessary tools to enhance their digital instruction and learning.

Just for Parents

Title I is a federal aid program that provides funds to help students succeed academically. These funds are used to help students meet the state's high standards, particularly in the areas of reading, mathematics, science, and writing.

FACT Fairs

Volusia County Schools in partnership with community resources share information with families ranging from curriculum, health, legal, housing, emergency responders, technology, early childhood to post-secondary education, and more. The exhibitors and workshops are set up in a middle or high school gym.

Parents-to-Kids (PTK)

The Parents-to-Kids (PTK) program is offered in English and Spanish to students and families in grades K-2 and grades 3-5 to promote reading and literacy skills at home. During this program, families will learn strategies to practice at home with their children. Title I provides the funding for books, supplies, teachers, and childcare personnel.

Hello Broncos! My name is Therese Butial and I’m the Parent Liaison at Osteen Elementary, and my primary role is to bridge the gap between home and school.

Volunteers

Our Volunteer Program (VIPS) has many volunteers, averaging more than 5,000 hours per year. Volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application. Approved applications are required in order to attend a field study. The district will screen all applications.
