What are the hours of child care in Waterford?

Child care hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All children must be enrolled in a Waterford School District Program. All children must be registered each school year and each summer. The Stepanski Early Child Care Program admits school-aged children ages 2½ to 6 years of age.

What is the new parent portal app?

Our New App will allow the parent to view report cards, submit attendance and when Back to School Online Registration is open you will now be able to complete the process in the Mobile App. If you have any qustions or problems with Parent Portal please email us at parentportal@wsdmi.org or call 248-682-2648.

How do I get into the parent portal?

For anyone still not able to get into the parent portal, please note that you may need to use a desktop or laptop. Some parents are having problems with the phones. You get to the portal from the website in the top white section. If it is your first time in, you will need to create a username and password.

Before & After School Care

Before and after school care is available at each of our nine elementary schools from 6:30 a.m. until school start time and from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m.

Full Day Care

The Stepanski and Leggett Child Care Programs admit children ages 2 ½ to 6 years of age. Children must be potty trained or in the process of training. Child care hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Immunizations

Immunizations are required for children entering kindergarten (ages 4-6) and those entering seventh grade (7-18 years). Requests for waivers must be certified at the Oakland County Health Division.
