What is the PPA 9/1/20?

9/1/20 Patient Portal#N#9/1/20 PPA is pleased to announce the launching of our new Greenway Patient Portal. Please note that credentials for our old portal version will no longer be active. Contact our office for instructions on how to sign up for the new version of our Patient Portal.

How to request PPA information?

Requests can be made to PPA by phone, by fax, in wirting or by portal message. We agree to provide this information through paper records (mail or in-office pick up), fax, through our patient portal, or by email using Hipaa compliant encryption within 5 business days of request to the best of our ability. PPA encourages the use of our patient portal to access clinical information contained in each patient's electronic chart quickly and easily. Doctors offices with direct.com encrypted emails can email electronic files to PPA's direct address, clinical@ppa.greenwaydirect.com, or send them via CD or flashdrive. What is the PA mask policy?

5/1/20 PPA MASK POLICY: To ensure the safety of our patients, staff and the public and in compliance with the mandates of the State of PA , patients and staff are required to wear masks at all time in our offices. If patients/visitors do not have their own mask, PPA will provide one for them. This requirement will be communicated to parents/patients when scheduling visits and at check in. Medically-exempt individuals with disabilities will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the office manager with the continued objective of the safety and well being of our patients and staff as our priority. 5/1/21 PPA is still requiring all patients (over 2 years of age) and visitors to wear masks in our offices even if individuals are fully vaccinated as we are a medical office. This mandate has been recommended by the CDC and the State of PA (Department of Health).

Upon arrival in our parking lots, please call the main number 215-257-2727, Sellersville, or 215-256-1999, Harleysville, to announce your arrival. Our front desk staff will instruct you to come in immediately or will call you back once a fully sanitized room is ready for you and your child.

Is Pennridge Pediatrics offering telehealth?

3/26/20 TELEHEALTH: We are happy to announce that Pennridge Pediatrics will be offering Telehealth services when appropriate due to the Covid 19 health emergency. Due to the global pandemic, the CDC and the PA Health Department have recommended that physicians utilize telehealth options to communicate with patients to offer medical advice in lieu of select office visits. PPA will conduct telephone consultations with patients in certain instances when an office visit is not deemed necessary by our staff. Calls into our nurse triage lines via our voice mail prompts may be forwarded to a clinician for a telehealth phone visit. Please be advised that any prolonged telephone conversation may be billed to commercial insurance companies and Medicaid during this pandemic as most of the insurers have approved these services for reimbursement for a limited time period.
