Parent Portal. The Peter Symonds College Parent Portal allows you to access information relating to your son or daughter's life at college. This includes timetables, attendance data and coursework deadlines. Access to the portal is available to parents and guardians of all current students.

How do I create a Parent Portal account?

Parent Portal accounts are usually created as part of the student application process. If you missed out on creating a portal account at this stage, you can request a Login Letter from us. If you've received a Login Letter from the college, the first thing to do is to create an account.

Parents' Evenings

These are scheduled in line with each progress review. If your progress is causing concern your parents/guardians will be invited to attend a meeting with you and your subject teachers. This may be because your attendance is poor or because you are working below your minimum expected grade (MEG).

Progression to Upper Sixth

For students on a two year course, progression from the first year to the second year is the norm. However, it is not automatic and attendance levels, behaviour, ability to meet deadlines and performance will determine progression to your second year of study.
