PowerSchool offers a Parent Single Sign-On to the Parent Portal where parents can have access to all of their children's information in one place in one account.
Type the PowerSchool URL into the address bar of your browser and press "Enter." Click on "Student Access." The Username and Password fields will display on-screen. Enter your PowerSchool login credentials, then click "Submit." In most cases, the Username will be your Student ID number.
The PowerSchool ID is your new Unified Classroom username. It is usually your email address.
Parents and students should use the link on the SMCC homepage to access our PowerSchool website. Students simply enter their STUDENT ID and STUDENT PASSWORD printed on the bottom of the PowerSchool letter to access their information. This is their permanent username and password.

Check your email for any communication from your school district regarding the Parent Portal. You may be able to find your username in those records. Try the “Forgot Password” tool to test which email address may be associated with your account.

PowerSchool has a useful app. Our district code is KRNB. One limitation of the app is that it does not all users to complete registration or re-registration forms. For that, parents/guardians need to log in to the PowerSchool website as a PARENT (not as a student).

You must have an Access Key to create a portal account. Access Keys consist of an Access ID and an Access Password. Schools distribute Access Keys to parents, so if you need your student’s portal Access Key, please contact your student’s school.
Multiple individuals can create accounts that the same student ( e.g. each parent could have their own portal account). If other individuals wish to create their own accounts for a student, they will need to use the same Access Key.
You can create your account with one Access Key and add other students at a later date when you receive additional Access Keys. Anyone with a student’s Access Key can access that student’s information through the portal, so protect the Access Key information as you would protect other confidential information.
