At Quarry Lane, providing our students with a balanced experience has always been a priority and is a key consideration and element of our distance learning program. Balancing the need for the comfort and structure of routine with opportunities for independent work and social/emotional development has been the inspiration for several key highlights of our distance learning program.
This past March, Quarry Lane joined schools across the nation in shifting our education model to a distance learning model. The Quarry Lane faculty and staff worked quickly and creatively to adapt our nationally-recognized education program and deliver a comprehensive, effective distance learning experience to each and every Quarry Lane student. And while we have adapted enormously well under the circumstances, we recognize that this is a growth process for all of us. Our growth mindset encourages our teachers and administrators to intentionally adjust our program to meet and exceed the needs of our students, and strive to improve and develop ways to bring the best elements of our education program to our students and families at home.
