Named America's most diverse city by Time magazine, Sacramento is situated at the confluence of the Sacramento and American rivers and is within two hours of both San Francisco and Lake Tahoe. Nicknamed the City of Trees, the River City, the Farm-to-Fork Capital, and the Camellia City, Sacramento features some of California's most historic landmarks, including Sutter's Fort, the Old Sacramento Waterfront, and the state capitol building. Sacramento is a bike-friendly community with a centrally-located train station and international airport for, and students can get around on SacRT's bus and light rail system for free with their Sac State OneCard.
