The Billiken Parent and Family Association — of which you are automatically a member — will keep you up to date about events and issues that may impact your student's experience.
Parents Parents, guardians or other third parties need access to Saint Louis University’s bill payment suite to view a student's bill, make payments or enroll in a payment plan. Your student can register you as an authorized user in mySLU under the tools tab.

There are lots of opportunities to stay involved with your student and the SLU community from that point on, including Homecoming and Family Weekend (what you might think of as Parent Weekend) and Billiken Parent and Family Association events throughout the year.
One of the exceptions under FERPA includes information the University has designated as "directory information.” Saint Louis University has designated the items below as directory information:
Request to prevent disclosure of directory information Request that your personal information not be published in the University phone directory People Finder, the commencement book or the Dean's List. This same form can be used to reverse your decision and have your name included in the above areas.
myslu.slu.edu is easy to use and easy to access. All you need is internet connectivity. The mySLU portal provides access to Google Apps, People Finder, Blackboard Learn, Banner Self-Service, student records, employee records and more.
The mySLU Share portal allows you grant your parents, guardians or other third parties authorized a ccess to your student information. mySLU Share is available within myslu.slu.edu and Banner Self-Service.
Saint Louis University uses Canvas for its learning management system. This application supports faculty and student customers on both the St. Louis and Madrid campuses and provides access to many tools that support SLU's educational mission.
Panopto is lecture capture software that records content shown on a computer screen, such as a PowerPoint presentation, along with the instructor's audio. Panopto captures, stores and indexes this content online for students to watch at their convenience.
