As a parent, I appreciate that Snap is a studio more than dance, it is a studio that is building leaders and encouragers. A studio that cares together, shares together, builds together … as cheesy as that may sound, Snap is all of that to me.
At Snap, your child will learn dance steps and the life lessons that come with them…like confidence, self-expression, focus and more. We think your child is unique, and our certified instructors will strive to make them the best dancer they can be regardless of their skill or experience level.
The older dancers embrace younger dancers and act as role models. My daughter is incredibly passionate at a young age about dancing thanks to the endless support and encouragement she has received at Snap. The community is inclusive, positive and very supportive. The P-EBT Parent Portal allows parents to view and receive information about their child’s P-EBT benefits. First, you will need to create an account within the CAFE Self Service Portal. You can view detailed instructions on how to do so here. Now that you've created a CAFÉ account, you can navigate to the P-EBT Portal within CAFÉ.
CLASS TYPE: Sessional, 6-10 weeks. No commitment beyond class! Parented.
Children can wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in; we sell dancewear such as bodysuits, tights, skirts, and shoes if you wish to purchase “dance attire” for your little one.
If the Rockyview School district closes schools, dance lessons will be cancelled as well. Please check the website if you are unsure.
Dancers must follow dress code in order to participate in class. It is available on our Parent Portal, or on the corresponding Program tab on the website. Our dress code is enforced for the benefit of your dancer.
The Parent Code of Ethics has guidelines that all Snap Parents need to follow. We ask that all parents EDUCATE themselves on these guidelines to avoid any issues (email warning, or loss of lobby/event privileges). We have this code in place for the benefit of everyone at Snap and to foster a positive environment.
Dancers are not to exit the front doors until a parent or authorized person has arrived at the studio to pick them up. For their safety, dancers are NOT to loiter outside in front of the studio or play in the parking lot.
We have been evacuated from the building in previous years (for gas leak in the area). We have put an evacuation plan in place if this occurs again. If we are forced to evacuate the building, we will attempt to relocate dancers to the following location:
Students will be placed into the appropriate level according to their experience and ability at the teacher’s discretion.
All dancers are expected to treat their instructors, fellow dancers and parents with respect. Any dancer showing rude or disrespectful behaviour will be approached and his/her parents will be informed.
Awesome summer programming for all ages and abilities. No experience necessary.
Incredible opportunities for experienced dancers who want to keep busy and dancing over the summer.
Learn all the latest dance styles, including Cheer, Acro and Hip Hop and partake in winter-themed crafts and activities.
