When did Spotlight start?
From its humble beginnings in the 1970s as a single dress fabric stall at Queen Victoria Market, Spotlight has grown to include 130 sew, craft, party and home decorating superstores, with outlets across four countries.

butterfly BALLET
Imagine your toddler earning her wings on stage at our Spring recital. Our Spotlight caterpillars graduate into the studio with a magical dance adventure created just for them. Our certified faculty inspires dancers to discover the world of music and movement with four lessons in creative play, music narrative, rhythm builders, and tumbling basics.
TRICK target
An acrobat clinic created for any level of tumbler. Students focus on fundamentals necessary to execute quality, controlled tumbling skills. Through conditioning, strength training and repeated drills, tumblers develop good habits and proper techniques that build power tricks such as: round-offs and aerials.
MAY FLOWERS
NEW this summer! Our May Flower program is a joyful opportunity for toddlers to discover dance. In four, 45-minute lessons, students practice social skills and classroom etiquette while developing coordination and rhythm. At Spotlight, we want to inspire children to love dance.
ONE BY ONE
One of The Spotlight’s most popular programs: One-By-One. Private coaching for dancers who enjoy performing. Students receive personal direction polishing previous skills and introducing new material. Dancers experience individual guidance to achieve desired goals.
ROYAL TRAINING
Are you interested in joining our Crown team? Royal Training is for you! A concentrated, comprehensive course of study that focuses on creating a strong foundation for the serious student and/or Crown dancer.
FINE ARTS CLUB
Do you have a 2-5 year old child who is bouncing with energy? We have the perfect place for them to learn and explore. Our Fine Arts Club is a fun and active program designed for preschoolers. Give your child an opportunity to learn through creative play and develop self-love along the way.
LITTLE SPARKLERS
A Spotlight Summer Camp for dancers ages 2.5-5 years in age. The Spotlight inspires young children to discover dance in four themed-lessons. Students learn using creative play, music narratives, rhythm builders, and peer examples.
