Find out about all Saint Ignatius events here. Just as there is no “typical” Saint Ignatius High School student, there is no “typical” day on campus. We operate a 24/7, 365-day a year organization.

Is Saint Ignatius a school that Never Sleeps?

We’re a school that never sleeps. Join us for community Masses, theatrical performances, reunions, athletic contests and tours. Find out about all Saint Ignatius events here.

Where can I find St Ignatius devices for use during mass?

St. Ignatius has 4 devices, and they are located in the sacristy. Please inquire with Shelia Wilkins, or one of the ushers, before Mass be instructed on how to use the device and to check one out for use during Mass.

PCs for People

PCs for People is a non-profit organization that provides refurbished technology including laptops, desktops, wifi or mobile hotspots to individuals and non-profits. Through a special partnership, current families and Academy graduates may purchase items at affordable prices.

Meal Program

The Academy’s meal program promotes the health and wellness of our students. The Academy participates in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Free and Reduced Meal Programs and is a participant in the Seamless Summer Option. We serve two meals per day, breakfast and lunch, and on 5:00 p.m. dismissal days students also receive an afternoon snack.

Physical Education and Athletics

Physical exercise is essential to good health. All students participate in the physical education. Students in grades 6-8 participate in the athletic program at the Academy, whether on an interscholastic team or in intramural activities.

You may track your student’s academic progress online. To sign up for PowerSchool, contact Ms. Sadovnik for instructions. Sign up on the PowerSchool website. If you need help signing up, view these instructions.

School Communications

In our continued efforts to be environmentally conscious, the Academy uses ClassDojo to communicate with parents and guardians. Each parent will receive an email invitation to join the Academy’s group. Important information, reminders and events will be posted on the site. If you need assistance with signing up, please contact Steffany Arrington.

Transportation

The Academy does not provide transportation to and from school. Parents are responsible for making arrangements to have students at school by 8:10 a.m. and picked up at the end of the school day by 5:00 p.m. (3:30 p.m. for 5th grade students). Students in grades 6-8 who take public transportation can get a reduced fare eligible card from Ms.

No Parking on Tuthill Lane

All parishioners and visitors are asked to avoid parking on Tuthill Lane when visiting campus. The City of Mobile has been issuing parking tickets to cars parked along the street. Please use the back parking lot behind the Marian Center when the main lot is full. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during our building process.
