When does STISD serve lunch?

South Texas Independent School District (STISD) will continue serving free breakfast and lunch meals curbside to all STISD students and children 18 years old and younger from our local communities throughout the month of June.

When will the South Texas ISD open?

South Texas ISD Virtual Academy opening in fall of 2021. South Texas Independent School District (STISD) is excited to announce the launch of its seventh campus, a stand-alone virtual school opening in the fall of 2021, following approval from the STISD board of directors during the June 28 board meeting.

When will South Texas Independent School District survey be completed?

Only students/families that complete this survey by July 16, 2021, will be eligible to receive a laptop and/or internet access (such as a hotspot).

On May 12, 2021, the U.S. Department of Education released information for school districts regarding the Federal Communication Commission's Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB). The EBB is a temporary federal program to help eligible families pay for internet service during the pandemic.
