Chicago Public Schools is excited to announce that starting April 22nd, 2019, Parent Portal will be replaced with a new system called Aspen. Aspen will provide the same capabilities of the old Parent Portal while adding new features including Graduation Requirements, Student Fees and a new, easy-to-use mobile interface.
Please visit your school’s website for upcoming events. If you do not have a home computer, please check with your child’s school to see if they have a designated computer. Alternatively, you can use your valid Chicago Public Library (CPL) card at any branch to access the Parent Portal.
Student and Parent Portals provide access to students’ grades, assignments, and attendance, among other new features, such as the ability to view and pay fees online. Students and their parents/guardians have different credentials for Aspen.

The new Student Portal URL is aspen.cps.edu and you will use your CPS username and password. If you want a look at Aspen, feel free to logon and try it!
To add a new contact, select Options > Add. The New Student Contact page appears. In the Selection Type pop-up, indicate whether Aspen should display Related Contacts, All People or All Contacts. Make your selection, and then click OK.
Your student's ID can be found on a report card or contact your school's main office.

What is Aspen? Aspen is a secure, Web-based school information management system. It is used by Marlborough High School to track student data – from attendance to conduct and grades to schedules. MHS uses Family and Student portals to increase communication among parents, students, teachers, and administrators.

To recover your password:On the Log On page, click I forgot my password. The Password Reset pop-up appears.Enter your Login ID and Primary email address.Click Continue. The Password Reset pop-up expands to include the security question you chose when setting up password recovery.Type the response, and click Submit.
Aspen is a secure, Web-based school information management system produced by X2 Development Corporation, a subsidiary of Follett Software Company, for schools and school districts. The system manages all facets of student data – from attendance to conduct, grades and schedules.
The Aspen platform provides students and families with convenient access to grades, attendance, and additional information about student progress.
To access grade information:Log on to Aspen Mobile using your phone or tablet.Tap Grade s. A list of your student's classes appears.Note: If you have more than one Aspen student, you can select their name from the drop-down at the top of the screen. Notes: This list displays classes for the current year and term.
When logged into Aspen, click on your name in the upper right corner and then click on Set Preferences which will appear below your name. Enter your primary and alternate email address if you would like to change or add them. Click on the Change link next to the word Password to change your password.

The New Aspen Student Portal. Chicago Public Schools is excited to announce that starting April 22nd, 2019, the current Student Portal will be replaced with a new system called Aspen.
To use a CPL public computer, you must have a valid CPL card in good standing. Simply make an online reservation at the PC Reservation Station. You can choose from the next available PC or pick a time that is most convenient for you. Patrons are allowed two 1-hour PC sessions each day.

The Missouri Society of Health and Physical Educators (MOSHAPE) is pleased to announce a Columbia Public Schools teacher, Ryan Armstrong, has been named as the nine-state Central District Elementary School Physical Education Teacher of the Year for 2022.
Chad Bass was recently selected to receive the 2019 Missourian Progress in Education award for building relationships and individual learning.
