In order to access the Unified Classroom, all parents must create new accounts. Below you will find both a Step By Step document and a video to guide you through the process. Parents will no longer be able to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The link on MyFPS will eventually change to the new Unified Classroom link.
PowerSchool’s Unified Classroom is replacing the traditional Parent Portal. This dashboard has new resources for parents that are filled with new features such as attached assignments and enhanced communication tools.
Unified Classroom integrates with key 3rd party classroom applications, like Microsoft applications (Office 365, OneDrive, OneNote), Google Drive, Performance Matters Assessments, Performance Matters Analytics, and more, so educators spend even less time navigating between products, reentering data, and recovering logins and passwords.

The PowerSchool ID is your new Unified Classroom username. It is usually your email address.
PowerSchool offers a Parent Single Sign-On to the Parent Portal where parents can have access to all of their children's information in one place in one account.
Parents and students should use the link on the SMCC homepage to access our PowerSchool website. Students simply enter their STUDENT ID and STUDENT PASSWORD printed on the bottom of the PowerSchool letter to access their information. This is their permanent username and password.

An access code is a series of numbers and/or letters that allow access to a particular system. An access code may be a password, although passwords are generally used in conjunction with usernames.
Type the PowerSchool URL into the address bar of your browser and press "Enter." Click on "Student Access." The Username and Password fields will display on-screen. Enter your PowerSchool login credentials, then click "Submit." In most cases, the Username will be your Student ID number.
For individual accounts, simply click Forgot Your Password? on the login page. This will send a password reset to the email address associated with your account from the address noreply@mylearning.powerschool.com. Keep an eye out for that email containing additional instructions!
