Children who will be five years old on or before September 1 and live within the School District are eligible for Kindergarten. All Kindergarten students will attend Van Vleck Elementary.

What are the requirements to attend Van Vleck Elementary?

Those eligible for Pre-K must meet one or more of the following: 1) qualify under low income guidelines; 2) qualify for the bilingual program; 3) be homeless; 4) be VVISD employees' children; 5) be children of active military parents.

Crisis Shelter

The Crisis Shelter provides a comfortable therapeutic space for children who need a higher level of safety and supervision.

Jackson Hole Leadership Program

Jackson Hole Leadership Program (JHLP) is a summer program for Teton County children grades 5th through 10th. The program teaches outdoor and problem-solving skills, as well as building positive peer relationships and effective communication. JHLP is open to all community youth.

The Group Home

The Group Home provides court-ordered and private placement for youth 10-18 in need of a structured therapeutic environment in Jackson. During placement each resident goes through program phases that include orientation, identification, application and transition. This program generally takes on average seven to eight months.
