Vista Oaks offers onsite enrichment classes for TK through grade 8. High school students can participate in weekly onsite classes. Vista Oaks Advisors work with families to support student learning. The Weekly Update is available every Friday during the school year.
Residents are actively being written citations for rolling through stop signs throughout Vista Oaks. Please help keep our neighborhood safe by making a complete stop at all stop signs in the neighborhood.
The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is a statewide assessment that is given to all students in grade 3 - 8 and 11 for English and Math. Students in high school take the California Science Test one time at the end of their final science class.
The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), is a required state assessment for a student whose primary language is a language other than English. The Initial ELPAC is given to students upon enrollment in a U.S. school. Additionally, the Summative ELPAC is given to all identified English Learners annually each February.
Vista Oaks is excited to begin the 2021 - 2022 school year on Monday, August 9. Students will be able to participate in onsite activities. Vista Oaks will continue to follow local health department guidelines to keep staff and students healthy. We are looking forward to have students back on campus.
A list of area schools that provide free lunches for students including when/where food will be provided is linked below. Students do not need to be enrolled to receive a lunch.
