The Parent Portal is a great way for parents/guardians to stay connected to their student's grades, attendance, assessments, and important announcements. Parent Portal accounts are available for all students enrolled with Volusia County Schools and are easy to set up.

What are the requirements to attend Van Vleck Elementary?

Those eligible for Pre-K must meet one or more of the following: 1) qualify under low income guidelines; 2) qualify for the bilingual program; 3) be homeless; 4) be VVISD employees' children; 5) be children of active military parents.

When is kindergarten in Van Vleck?

Children who will be five years old on or before September 1 and live within the School District are eligible for Kindergarten. All Kindergarten students will attend Van Vleck Elementary.

2 Valley View ISD schools nominated for 2019 national Blue Ribbon honors

Congratulations to Mrs. Leal, Dr. Gomez, North Elementary, and Lucas Elementary students and staff. Both North and Lucas Elementary were nominated as High Achieving Blue Ribbon Schools. Before this posting from the Texas Education Agency, only 17 campuses in the Valley had ever attained this national nomination.

Congratulations to Mr. Cerda, our wonderful VVE staff, and our amazing VVE students! VVE was the only selected school in the state of Texas to receive the Distinguished Performance Award!!
