What is the parent portal and how do I use it?

Once school has begun, the parent portal can be used to view student attendance, test scores and contact information. At Walnut Creek Intermediate, the portal can used by parents and students to also access gradebook information. For grades TK-5 and Tice Creek, classroom information will be provided on the teacher/classroom web pages.

What is the Infinite Campus Parent Portal?

The Infinite Campus Parent Portal provides families in Washoe County School District online information about their child's achievement: Grades Class Assignments Attendance Behavior A Family Calendar that organizes all of your children even if they attend different schools A To-Do List of assignments that are due and overdue

What is parentconnection?

ParentConnection is a web-based service that gives parents the ability to access student data via the Internet. Parents use a confidential personal identification number (PIN) and password to view their student’s attendance, grades, assignments and other information online.

How do I login if I Forgot my Parent Portal password?

Did You Forget Your Password?: First attempt to login by entering your valid Parent Portal Username (Leave the password field blank, Your user name should be the email address you provided to the school). Click Login, then follow the prompts for "New User or Forgot Password?".

FORGOT MY PASSWORD

You must know your Username, which is the email address you registered with. Click here.

REQUEST A "NEW" PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT

You must have a valid email address, your child's Date of Birth, and your child's Local Student ID. You may also use his/her SSN as an option, although not required. Click here.

REQUEST FOR "FOCUS PARENT PORTAL" ACCESS

You must also complete and sign the "Request for Focus Parent Portal Access" form and return it to your child's school. You may also add your other children during this registration process. It is only necessary to return one Access form but each child must be listed at the bottom of the form. Click here.

ADD A CHILD TO YOUR EXISTING PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT

You must have your child's Local Student ID, or SSN, and Date of Birth. Click here.
