What is parentconnection?

ParentConnection is a web-based service that gives parents the ability to access student data via the Internet. Parents use a confidential personal identification number (PIN) and password to view their student’s attendance, grades, assignments and other information online.

How does powerparent work for parents?

Access to PowerParent allows the parents of middle and highschool students to keep track of grades and attendance. It also provides access to teacher comments and the ability to recieve e-mail updates regarding your childs progress. Parents are provided with a logon account in the beginning of the year on back to school night.

Where is WDWD Williams Elementary School?

WD Williams Elementary School is nestled in the beautiful Swannanoa Valley in East Asheville. Our school has approximately 450 students, grades kindergarten through five. Our dedicated staff provides a nurturing environment for students to flourish and seek personalized growth.

Powerschool Parent Portal: Single Sign-On Instructions

Starting in 2015 the login process for the Powerschool Parent Portal has changed. The new method is called Single Sign-On and it will allow parents and guardians the ability to access multiple student's academic information from one central login.

Parent Involvement

Parents can play many roles in sport: current or former athlete, coach, fan, motivator, role model or critic. A few studies have shown that family members may influence an athlete’s involvement and achievement in sport more than coaches. Parents also are the first and most critical agents at socializing sports.

Keep connected to your team (s). Get schedules and team updates for every athlete in the house, plus a way to message other members on your team and a way to give coaches a heads up about practice. Enjoy unlimited access to scores & stats, photo/video sharing, and more.

ESSENTIAL PARENT HOW-TO'S

In many instances, more than one parent or guardian needs to be in the loop with a child's sports life. Using the mobile app, you can add additional guardians to an account. Guardians can 1) View games and events 2) RSVP to games and events 3) Send and receive messages to coaches and team members 4) participate in team chat
