Who is the new headteacher at Woldingham?

Dr Whitehead joined Woldingham as Head in summer 2020 from Rugby School. He is Woldingham’s first male Head in the school’s long history. Educated at Stonyhurst College and Hertford College, Oxford, Dr Whitehead completed further degrees at Stirling and Manchester universities.

Choosing the right senior school for your daughter is a major decision, and our admissions team is here to guide you through this process.

Admissions timeline

Most girls join the school in Year 7, Year 9 or at Sixth Form. Occasional places are available in Years 8 and 10. Assessment days are held in the autumn term and decision are made in December. 13+ candidates can apply in Year 8 to start at Woldingham in Year 9 or for deferred entry in Year 6.

International students

We welcome applications from overseas students. Our global community is very important to us and students from more than 30 different nationalities attend Woldingham.

Staff

Dr Whitehead joined Woldingham as Head in summer 2020 from Rugby School. He is Woldingham’s first male Head in the school’s long history. Educated at Stonyhurst College and Hertford College, Oxford, Dr Whitehead completed further degrees at Stirling and Manchester universities. He started his school career teaching English at Radley College.

Robert’s initial career spanned over ten years in marketing and sales in major FMCG organisations, culminating in senior international roles.
