The Anne Arundel County Department of Health provided school reopening guidance in October 2020 and again in February 2021 to help safely reopen schools. Now, almost a year and a half into the pandemic, all schools are in a position to fully reopen for the 2021-22 academic year.
The AACPS Virtual Academy is a new AACPS school that opened in Fall 2021. The Virtual Academy is a virtual-only learning solution for a limited number of students entering grades 3-12 who are not able to return to in-person instruction.

AACPS provides free breakfast and lunch to children ages 2-18 during the summer as part of the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program. There are no income or registration requirements. COME AND ENJOY A HEALTHY MEAL!
