The goal of Parent University is to partner with all Hazelwood School District families as they engage in their children’s educational experience. Parent U workshops, events, videos, resources, and programs are designed to empower families and provide the tools needed to support their children in achieving success.

The Hazelwood Early Childhood Education Program has a variety of preschool programming options for students ages 3-5 years old. All students must receive a free developmental screening to determine which programming is appropriate to meet the needs of your child.
Hazelwood offers a full-day, tuition-free kindergarten. Children must be five years old before Aug. 1, 2021, to begin kindergarten in the fall. Each March, Hazelwood elementary schools host special kindergarten enrollment events for families. If you miss these events in March, please contact your elementary school at your earliest convenience.
The primary household parent is the individual who may enroll the student. If the student lives with someone outside of the biological parent, please contact the Office of Residency and Enrollment at 314-953-5141.
Each family must submit one item from List A and List B in the enrolling parent's name.
